Can't believe how fast time flies by.  These girls are all grown up and I missed a chunk of it already.  It was so good being able to catch up and hang out together.

Hiking

Out of all the hiking trails I've been to this summer, Granite would have to be my personal favorite.  The view is quite breathetaking!

Now I know what Spider-Man feels like.  Don't be deceived by this picture.  It's a lot more steeper than it looks.  My favorite part of the hike was climbing up these rocks.

Seattle Seahawks: Game 1

I've decided I'm going to try out to be one of those flag boys. How cool would it be to have a job where you wave that flag across the stadium after every touchdown! 

Visit To Seattle

My cousins Fran and Grace came up to visit Seattle.  I remember when my family first moved here to the US, we stayed with them in their home in Shoreline.  So these guys visiting Seattle is nothing new.  Here we are at the top of the Snowlake Trail.

After hiking, we built up our appetite and headed over to Maggiano's for some baked ziti and their unbelievable Nona's poundcake dessert.  Yummy!!

Cali may have a lot of great places to eat, but Seattle is the only place where you can find a fresh bowl of clam chowder from Ivar's.

Children's 100th Birthday at Woodland Park Zoo

My work celebrated their 100th year at the zoo.  Sucks that it rained but still had a great time.

I get so easily amused.  Here I am expressing my excitement to see a moose.

I must say, Bourne Ultimatum is probably the best movie out this summer.  If you watched it and enjoyed it, you'll love this. Watch the first clip before the second to get the background between Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel.  Hilarious.

It's only been my first week here but I must say, I'm so grateful for my job and am proud to be a representative!  Pretty overwhelming at how God honors our prayers.  I'm blessed with awesome coworkers, a friendly environment and of course, the perks never hurt.

Overall, I'd say this trail is decent and not too challenging.  Very ideal for first time hikers.  Next stop, Denny Creek!

 My cousin Jess came up from Cali after graduating college to chill for a couple of months here in Seattle.  Can't believe how years go by so quickly.  She's all grown up and I feel like I missed a huge chunk of her growing up.  More than ever lately, I've been devoting more time when it comes to family.  Whether it's trying to spend more time with my parents, calling my brother more often or trying to keep in touch with my cousins, etc.  Even for my future wife, I pray that she'll be someone who highly values family.  Can't wait to visit my brother and Jess' sisters in Cali.  Only two more weeks!!

Snowlake Trail

I took Jess out to Snowlake Trail early this week.  As you can see, the lake is still covered in snow (and thus the name Snowlake! Who would've thought).  We were very tempted in wanting to hike down by the lake but with all the snow, we couldn't even find the trail for it.  Still, the scenery was awesome and it was fun hiking in the snow.  Next up. . . Denny Creek.  Heard it's crazy steep.  Oh, I'm excited!
